The Moonee Ponds Court House Museum, which is administered by the Essendon Historical Society, has been created to collect, preserve, research, exhibit, and interpret objects that illustrate the history in the Moonee Valley area.
At present, the EHS Collection includes:
- photographs and images
- books, journals and magazines
- maps and house plans
- ephemera
- microfiche, microfilm, CDs, DVDs and digital files
- artefacts
- historical clothing
- oral histories
The Essendon Historical Society welcomes donations to its Collection following its Collection Management policy. Before making a donation, we ask that you read and understand the policy.
Objects donated to the EHS Collection will become the exclusive property of the EHS, including absolute rights in relation to the use, retention and disposal of the objects.
