A pictorial history of the Flemington House, Travancore mansion. The book explores the development of the Flemington and the Travancore Estate from a sheep station in 1847 to a today’s suburb. When completed in 1856, the mansion and gardens equalled, if not surpassed, any similar private residence at the time in Victoria.
This book includes many unpublished photographs and explores the lives of the Glass and Madden families.
