Membership covers not only the monthly meetings, the Newsletters and the Journal but also other events the Society organises and free admission to the Courthouse Museum. Some meetings each year are held in historical sites around Essendon and there are a number of other functions organised for members. In addition, members are invited to participate in organising displays in the Museum; being on the Museum roster; participate in research on forthcoming publications; and other activities.
